The wheel bases shouldn't be too much different, but with the body and paint done, it's a call you will have to make Amigo. Each of our trucks are worth countless amounts of dollar bills and three times as much in sweat equity. Figure the amount of time it would take you to do all of the work completed already, and money that would have been spent to get it where it is at this moment. If 2500 bucks is what you're willing to pay, then it's a great deal. These trucks are definitely not about the money, although everyone loves a deal. Best of luck and be sure to post up some pictures!

Ask some questions first. You need to know where the rust damage, if any (haha) was. How was it repaired. Your main concern should be the cab. Look over the windshield. Was it hacked-in, newspapered over? And then painted. Maybe a "before" shot from the owner can give you some clues on where to look. The paint work seems OK. But it's certainly not high end.
All in all if the cab is pretty clean, I think it's a smokin' deal.
And everything should fit onto the 3/4 ton chassis just fine. Maybe a little hole drilling here, and little adjustment there. But those same components went right on the 3/4 tons right from the Factory. Judging by the condition of the rear end, I think a frame swap may be just what this truck needs. Good Luck.

we went and picked it up today and got it for $2000. the truck has NO rust and all body work is done it just needs an engine/trans bed wood and interior and its done. i also was wondering what the best place for eom 60 parts is because i tried classic industries and it wont let me look at them
