I finally got my 49 chevy to start today smile . But now I am haveing problems now to get it to start because every time the truck fires and tries to start, the starter disingagese, therefore not allowing to start. Can anyone tell me what is causing this to happen??

Sounds like it could be a weak starter drive or a weak starter solenoid
