waveHave been a Chevy Fan since 1962 when I got my first one a 53 Chevy Bel Air and my DAD had a 53 Deluxe Cab 1/2 Ton. Worked on both of them until I left home in 1964 and did not own another truck until around 1990 when a one-owner 48 Deluxe Cab 1/2 ton became available on a labor trade for working on a 66 SB Step Side that came out of the same estate. Restored the 66 to original other than paint color and got the 48 for services rendered, then the process began. It has been an off and on project for many years but is about ready to paint. My other truck is a late 39 1/2 ton street rod that my wife and I really enjoy and drove over 6k this past summer. Pretty typical 350 motor, 350 turbo trans, S-10 rear, with PS. PB, Tilt, A/C-Heater w/defrost, PW, Nova Front Clip with Disc and is a good solid cruiser. I also have a 34 Chevy 3 window coupe that I have owned for over 30 years, it is a Street Rod also.

Welcome 34, sounds like you know your way around these old vehicles. You're in good company here at the Stovebolt.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
