The engine needs to be torn down to inspect for damage. If the nos. are for a 53 or 54 vette I would say the engine would be in high demand. Good bucks from a vette restorer. NCRS restorers are looking for correct numbers. Just an idea that might be turned into dollars. tom

I don't have the info for 53 but 54 Corvette blocks would be stamped with a YG suffix.

Your 33 at the beginning of the number is probably a 38. http://clubs.hemmings.com/clubsites/chevytalk/GMhistory/1916-57cast.html The stamped number on the pad behind the distributor will give you a better idea whether or not it's really a Corvette application.
