For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 92 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 92 | I am almost on the road with my 55 1st 3/4 ton 5 window. This will be a tow vehicle (yeah, thats right, i am actually going to USE my truck - unlike those furd and NOPAR guys). so, I will be pulling a 17' trailer (kitchen on wheels) and need to better understand which mirror arms and mirrors would be most appropriate and then where they are supposed to be mounted.
Any advice?
Whats down in the well comes up in the bucket, so watch who's KoolAid you drink.

Anything else is going to be after market or you may want to try mounting the arms from a bigger truck series I am not sure how that will look. Most of the aftermarket mirrors will involve drilling mounting points into your doors. Period mirror sets appear on eBay once in a while so at least they are somewhat correct to the era. | | |
