took me two attempts, First seal I purchased didn’t fit well
Check out this pic ...pic..click
The seal on the left in that pic was to thick, the one on the right has a sharper v cut and fit better.

here is how I glued it on the door..click...

After all that, I’m not 100% sure I installed it correctly, I wouldn’t be surprised if an experienced bolter would look at my pics and say..hey that’s wrong.
My doors close nice and I have a good seal.

look at my pic's as reference only. The seal kit I ended up using came from TUCKERS truck in las vegas.

Good luck

Thanks for the info. that was the site i was looking for. Still is a bit confusing but Im sure Ive got it. you would think there would be a page from the manufacturer like steele that would be much better then the one they offer. to vague in my opinion.

If anyone has any more info or pics of the seals for the rear clam shell doors or other door pics please post them. any help on wrapping up this customers project would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

This is a shot of my 1952 panel door. Does this help??? I am just holding another piece up to the already installed just to show how it goes. Its had to tell someone after its already on the door. I used 3M black Weatherstipping.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

I just did mine a few weeks ago. I took the doors off the cab to glue it on, but I left the rear doors on, no problem. I used Alan's tech tip, helped a lot. I also used the black 3M adhesive, mine was in a tube.
