Does anyone know what color the bench seat frame on a 53 5 window 3100 is suppose to be? The exterior color is Mariner Blue 1953. Any help would be GREATLY Appreciated as well as upholstery color that would probably have gone with this exterior color.

Frame should be same color as interior (semi-flat charcoal enamel sight metallic long a topic of discussion and debate). Seat is usually dark brown as shown.
Several vendors sell the kits and the paint if you search the formula has been posted previously.

Thanks! I'm learning more about these trucks everyday. I'll check out the links tonight. I thought the interior body was painted the same as exterior. Was the charcoal enamel a standard color for the interior no matter what the exterior color was?

1953 is a unique color and there is debate about what is correct and what the actual color is and what variations there may be. Interior color was always unique from the exterior truck color up until the end of the A-D years when other deluxe colors became available in 1954/55. If you look at pictures of trucks you will see many where interior/exterior color is the same (my own truck is like this). That is most likely personal preference being demonstrated not factory colors.
