I would like to hear from someone who has swapped a 235 into an 31 !/2 ton. This is my first vehicle of this vintage and I need more info. How does the 235 compare to the original engine as far as size and and motor/tranny mounts? Anything would be helpful. Thanks

The original 194 C.I. engine is actually longer than the 235. You would want to use the 216 type front motor mount and an early 40's truck bellhousing and mounts, I think. Do a search on 194 or 207 engine swaps for more info.

for "Fortynine5"

I am building a 1930 Ford Truck with a 261 in it.
You can find some pictures of it and my old Stromberg BXOV carbs at,

If you have any questions or anything just e-mail me, I would be more than glad to shair anything I done or learned from building my project. Which is still in the 'mock-up stage'
