Hy dvzdeathtrap, could you give us your truck series, or your serial number, the terms 1 1/2 & 2 ton are too vague, too much chance for errors.

Rare parts in Stockton Ca has them, I got a set for a 53 6400 series ( 2 ton ) they said from a 3/4 to 2 ton were all the same, what happened is they sent me .010 oversize the first go round, so I would call them and have them check a set before shipping.

Man I like your "pickup". Very cool.
According to the 48-51 Truck Shop Manual the 2 ton models had larger (1.109") king pins than 3/4-, 1- and 1 1/2-ton conventional models which did share the same .921 diameter.

My guess is that you will need NAPA #2621475. This corresponds to the interchange number of 3691111, which is listed as '46-53 2 ton. As mentioned above, the 2 ton model is a seperate beast than the 1.5 ton and smaller. Once you remove them we can figure out if you need oversized or not and come up with more numbers.

Good luck, Jeff

I just purchased a set for my 1.5 ton at NAPA. When we were researching them their computer listing displayed the sizes enabeling me to order the correct ones. Possibly they can help you.

Hi, been very long time since being on forums here and dropped in to check out the Big Bolts again. Wanted to say I have two sets of kingpins, one in orig GM box, kinda ruff that might be for 2-ton. I can look in garage and take pix if interested. One kit has no box, so not sure what it is, other than GM. I can measure also. I'ld take $20 for the pair (2 sets) if you wanted. Email me at [email protected] for easier correspondence. I see fellas having the same issues with rebuilds as in past, so not much has changed. I got out of the truck mode and into tractors now.

Hey grumpy!! Good to see you back in here -- even if only for a drive by!

Hope all is well,
John

Hi Spanky, NO, sold all my trucks and last COE project I threw in all the extra engines and stuff I had for Bolts. I got into tractors, Minneapolis-Molines and now doing more with Garden tractors of any brand. Seems GT's are the "newest" hot item at the shows. Don't do any "pulling" with either size. Now, thinking I might get out of those tractors too. I do miss my 54. I sold it, was offered later. Went to look at it, but guy had it banged up a bit and was dissappinted in condition, so forced myself to say NO! Now thinking of buying another, just better shape to start.
