Hi English guy living in Idaho , Just bought my First Chevy 3600 with a Utility Bed , Engine has 91000 on it runs perfect Now no smoke rattles As you might see from the photos, It let go of a Fan blade and it did go through the Hood :o( . Makes me wonder about leaning over an Engine and reving her up with that old riveted fan. Anyway truck is all original 6 volt split rims. Has Less rust than the 1999 D**** R** that I had when I moved over Paid a whopping $500 for it with title . I am very very pleased with it so far. So simple too work on And these old trucks Have character Curves and Style.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

Nice truck. I love those utility bodies. Not the raciest looking, but if you use your truck much, you have to love all the storage options for tools and gear.

Welcom to the bolt.

Hi Ryan, welcome from a fellow Brit.
Where abouts in Blighty do you hail from?

I assume you find it easier to get parts over there than I do here!

Nice old truck you have, and it's good to see something other than a pick up or panel for a change.
See you around the 'bolt.

Hiya Jock Originally hail From Swindon down in wiltshire. I was thinking of mooving back and bringing Her with me , Im a plumber by trade and I would want too use her as my work truck. The wife is American so having spares shipped wouldnt be too much of a problem just the wait . That being said I do intend too make my truck stone axe reliable If I can with sencible modifications I try and get back as regular as I can so if your desperate for anything give me a buzz and we can work something out im sure. But they wont let me bring a 235 Engine on as Carry on lol

Ryan, I read your PM before I saw this post.

Thanks again for the kind offer.
Most of the big stuff is done on the truck.
Just need a grill, tailgate and front apron to complete the bodywork, thankfully I can get them here.

I big old stovebolt engine would push your excess baggage costs up a little.

Mind you I do need wheels........ wink
Jock.
