If you're using a high-pressure lube such as Never-Seez, reduce the torque by about 5% or use the low side of the torque range specified.

ARP assembly lube gave most consistent results, while others gave dramatically differing results. Most came up short on bolt tension the first time torque was reached, and increased to near required value on susequent torquings (is that a word?). Of course, the torque/tension rig was supplied by ARP.
