Has anyone experienced any flow issues with these? Mine sounds horrible at idle, almost like its missing..just a rough idle. No obvious leaks in the pipe, I welded everything, and the engine sounds smooth when your standing over it. I even went as far as to replace the plugs and wires, swaped out the carb. same issue.
plenty of fuel to the carb too.

| | | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 5,190 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 5,190 | Most likely it was tuned with a bad muffler, now that it has free flow you might mess with the idle adjustment a little. In is lean, out is rich, go 1/2 turn each way and see what it sounds like. Idle screw will not fix anything above a idle, if its not running right out on road, then you have other problems.
