For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 4,963 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 4,963 | I started hauling grain from elevators in a semi in the early 60's and I have always liked field trucks. Most of them are still in good shape. Keep us up to date with pictures. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 2,733 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 2,733 | I cannot get your first link to work. Second one does. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 2,549 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 2,549 | Nice truck. Did I see it on craigslist. I've owned two '56 5700 LCF's. Always wanted one of the Heavy Duty 7000, or 9000 series versions. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 42 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 42 | yep, it was on craigslist, been looking for a Chevy Lcf for quite a while, don't care for the GMC lcf trucks as they have that raised eyebrow suprised look about them. This one has a 265 V8 in it.I'll post more pictures after I've brought it home. Anybody have a link to some factory specs on this truck?

I passed on a 55.2 5100 Dump that was on CL around here... now I regret it!
