Need Help? Can anyone tell me the correct fog lights for my 1955 1st series truck. I've been told they are guide 2002e amber? I have a old add and they look to be clear with a L bracket mount? also what about the switch does it say LITE or FOG-LITE?

Thanks
Chuck

I do not know about 1955-1st but my guess is the GM accessory fog lamps would be the same as the lamps available in 1954.

Thanks Tim, I have that same add but it does not give any part numbers. Would you know the correct ones for the 1954 truck?

Thanks Chuck

Chuck,

GM/Chevrolet 986942 for the 1954 Chevrolet truck fog lamps.
I do not know the Guide number.

I am trying to remember where I saw a photo of the under-dash switch (I dimly recall that it at least had the word FOG on it, but I could be wrong).

Some place I think I have a photo of a propper switch it was black bakelite with white letters FOG. Not too sure if I'll be able to locate my photo soon (I know it was a few years back)but I'll give it a shot.

I have a switch I picked up at a swap meet, and it looks exactly like the heater switch, and says FOG, as others have said. If I get to storage I will take a picture and post it.
