Just wondering what to do about the shift indicator light or lever whatever you have. How did you mount it and what kind do you have for your A/T ?

Mike | | | | | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | depends on the year you've got Mike, using a floor shift is common, and with some you can cut the column tube and replace it with one from a 67-72 that had an auto trans so you get the shifter and indicator on the column

I'm installing the original 4 sp 1948 column w/ a 350turbo and a floor mounted Gennie shifter.Gennie makes one but they cost as much as the whole shifter new.
