And will I have to change my oil pressure gauge from the 0-30 to the 0-60 ?

Chris - what RPMs and temps do you get those readings and what fitting on the head gives you a correct pressure? have you compared other gauges on that block fitting?

But it takes a little longer for the head pressure to build up. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 46 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 46 | Thanks Guys But should I change my oil gauge from the max 30 to the max 60 one? | | | | | Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 1,922 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 1,922 | The maximum pressure is always going to be the relief valve pressure (unaffected by viscosity or temperature), unless there's something wrong. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | A stock 30 PSI gauge holds up fine with a 235.
