any ideas on replacing the windshield wiper arms. '53 chevy 1/2 ton 3100. already replaced motor and transmission arms, i've tried the replacements from lmc and classic parts. the original styles they have are a joke.

I used the "modern" ones from JimCarter.
Left wiper arm #WW406L Both of these $13.95 each w/discount.
Right one is #WW406R

Wiper Blades #WW129 approx. 10" $11.50 each if your a stovebolt contributor (Gets you a 10% discount) The prices I quote are as off Sept. this year.

I looked at the parts houses but gave up after a while and just ordered them. I"m still convinced if I take the ones I ordered up the parts house I can match up something....but only so much time in a day. Hope this helps.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

I went thru that exercise Alvin. Taint nobody up here stocking blades of that size nor do they have the arms. I just finally caved and bought some from the repro-vendors and moved on.
