I have removed my gauges from the dash..due to them not working. The oil pressure gauge pressure tube was missing. But I found the location of where it is to go. ( rear of the motor close to firewall )..yes ?
But where does the water temp line go ?

On my 51 it is right near the carb on top of the manifolds. I'll see if I can take a pic for you.

Jimmi - the oil pressure line goes to the drivers side and low on the block. If you have a filter it will share the block outlet for that. Since you have a car engine I don't know where the temp sending unit goes but it will be on the drivers side of the head and can't be mistaken because of the size and pipe threads. I'm sure Tim (tclederman) can supply a photo or service manual detail to clarify.

Thanks for the info...I have checked the engine # against the form attached and a LAQ is a Truck engine 235 with a powerglide Tranny...even though I have a 4 speed... unless I'm reading it wrong..which is highly likely.
