Hi Ya'll,

I am an older hotrodder who just bought a 1954 Chevrolet PU that PO started but could not finish...
Briefly, 54 PU with 4 bar rear & Camaro 10 Bolt, Camaro front clip w/disc brakes, SBC, etc...
Nothing is completed, just all the parts..

The best part is a 54 w/ no rust...

I am an old dragracer who "Needs A Rod" so I am going to to make a daily driver/street rod.

I would appreciate all comments & advice on how to make it real nice... I would also appreciate some pics of others that have done this to give me some guidance..

Great to be here & this site is awesome...

Thanks,

TC

Hi thirdcoast, welcome. Having no rust is always a bonus. There's many styles to building hotrods, check out the Gallery to see what appeals to you.

Hi TC welcome to the 'bolt.
There's quite a mix here from the real resto buffs to the hot rod gang.
It gives the site the best of both worlds.
We're just one big happy family!

As Leo mentioned have a look in the gallery for inspiration.
Or click on the blue signature links at the bottom of some of our posts.
See you around!
Jock.

Welcome to Stovebolt! Sounds like you got a good start with a 54 with no rust. Now the fun begins. My husband has hotroded a 37 and now his is going to start on a 50. He used a 261 to still have the straight 6. It went fast enough to give me butterflies! Good luck!

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
