I came across this picture somewhere (can't remember where, now) and was just floored. One of the coolest old trucks I've seen. I think the site I found this one on had a little writeup about it and indicated that it was a 1.5 or 2 ton truck to which they attached the fleetside bed from another truck. It's a pretty cool and pretty creative set-up. He took off the Running Boards too to make it look even.
BTW, they did make 1-Ton Pick-ups. They were C-30's and actually had a 9 Ft Bed.
