When I got it the motor was bad and it had a 3 speed manual trans. I built a mild 350 and rebuilt a turbo 350 for it. I enjoy driving it so much I may it my daily driver. It still needs alot of work but it has been a slow resto. Nothing but fun with it and hopefully about 2 more years till she is 100%. The rust on the passenger door is fixed, installed bucket seat from a 2003 chevy truck so i could put my son in it with me. I took the bed off to start on the frame in the back. I sold the bed to a friend with a 64 and currently looking for a step side. Hey Achipmunk, im currently deployed but I am stationed in Savannah, GA. Decent parts for oldies are hard to come by here so I know im going to have to venture out. I dont mind driving for a good deal. http://img715.imageshack.us/g/trucks002.jpg/

Just tonight a lady told me about her husbands 64 that is for sale. It has a 350 engine and from what she says may have had the stepside bed changed for a fleetside?
So, there are parts around. I'm even considering looking at the above truck. They are asking $2500 but without seeing it you just never know.
