Soak the entire cable assembly in a solvent?

It is amazing stuff. It will creep and break the molecular bond that has "fused" the two parts together. The gunsmiths turned me on to it. They use it to free rusted screws in antique guns. I love Kroil, I've been using it on all my stuck parts. Thanks again Brett. I'll try to get more pics of my new power disc brakes. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 38 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 38 | | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | +2 for kroil. If you have it out of the vehicle then "slap" it on the ground a few times after you soak it. That'll break it up! | | |
