on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 3 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 3 | Hy guys, My is Carlos Renato, i m from Brasil, and this is a 59 chevy, that we call here ''Chevrolet Brasil'', because it was the first truck produced here in Brasil. Until 1958, our trucks were imported from USA, in 1958 GM started a home production, and a totally diferent design from your trucks, so our 59 is really diferent from yours . the egine is 261 with a 3 on the tree. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 3 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 3 | | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | Carlos, welcome to the stovebolt and thanks for sharing the pictures. It is a unique truck. The "rocket spears" on the hood remind me of the hood on a 57 chevy car. The front of the truck with just the fenders and grille remind me of an old Willys. Quite a truck. Please keep us posted with pics as you go along. I find it very interesting. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 738 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 738 | Welcome to Stovebolt! Your truck will be pretty unique here,I don't recall seeing another like it,although someone here did post some pictures of one a while back. Is the little Karmann yours as well? Nice little 'collection' you've got yourself. Good luck Jock. 1950 Chevy Advance Design 3100 in ScotlandIn the Stovebolt GalleryMore pix on Flickr.
