He could not tell me if the 1/2 ton pickup boards were the same as for a 1/2 ton Sub. I am getting close to needing them so can any of you tell me if there is a difference. So the short question is are the running boards the same for pickups and suburbans? I'm talking about 49 ADs here.

They are the same. Jim Carter sells the plugs to fill the holes that are not needed for the pickup running board to bed splash apron.

Or do you mean it was shorter than the one on the other side? Was this an original or a repro? Fiberglass or metal? Go ahead and measure but tell me from where to where. The conventional wisdom here on the Bolt is that 1/2 ton AD pickups and suburban/panels share the same running board. I hope your experience was a one time thing. How did you correct the problem?

Weeds And, the 47-55 1-ton runnings-boards for panels and pickups are also the same. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 14 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 14 | It was an inch shorter than the other side, I measured the one on my grandfathers carryall and the boards on that are 1 inch longer, the same as my passanger side one. This was a NOS running board, I have no idea what its from it fit perfect but were it ends at the front by the wheel opening it is one inch to short and does not make it.
