I would think it should ride pretty good..

#66824 10/05/2006 8:44 PM | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | Rather that subbing your truck, why not go with the S 10 chassis swap? the S 10 has the same front suspension as the G body car, and the long bed chassis corrects the fender to wheel alignment. There also more factory upgrades (read CHEAP!) that can be done, such as 4 wheel disk brakes and suspesion upgrades. I'd leave the G body cars to the drag racers and demo guys.

plenty of regular or long box trucks though For what its worth, I don't think you want a short box s-10. I think you want a long box s-10 to match the wheelbase (116" +/-). Somebody will correct me if I am wrong.

The extended cab can be used if you shorten the frame which is easy and undetectable. The rear "C" channel frame transitions into the boxed front section about under the back of the cab. If you carefully cut the factory weld at this junction you can trim the rear frame to give the desired wheelbase, leave a little long to slide back into the front boxed section, and then weld exactly in the same place the factory did. In reality there are so many regular cab long box trucks available you should be able to find one.

and a 3/4 ton ad truck, a long box reg. cab s-10 would work.
