           I have wanted a '48-54 3100 for so long, and I purchased this one on eBay (back in May)! It's a '54 GMC 3100 with (I think) a 216. It was on a farm in midwest Oklahoma. I had it transported to Salt Lake City by an excellent fellow and trailored it home to Canada. I need a carb and a radiator and this sucker should fire up. Anyone local have parts?. Anywhere else? I would say she's 98% "there."

           I am leaning towards going with a big block in my '54. I can't recall seeing one before and I'm not 100% sure what will work. First of all, I want to make sure it can be done.

          I am using a 1981 Chev S-10 long box frame and am leaning toward a 383 stroker.

          I have been really busy since I got the truck but I am hopeful that I can get back to this project this fall.
