The only kits I've ever seen for anything ,other then a Jeep, that was pre-'67 were custom fabbed, either by the owner or a custom 4x4 shop. I can tell you that what you probably saw was for the Second series '55, the '55-'59 Task Force body trucks have been popular lately for 4x4 conversion, namely due to the ease of adapting later axles beacause of the 34" frame width (AD trucks had tapered frames). You might look for a 4x4 shop that can fab the parts you need.
