Who sells complete rear brake hardware kits for 55 Chevy 1/2ton second series? and what all is included in this kit,does anyone have a pic of this with the drum off? many thanks to all help!

Believe it or not, check with your local FLAPS......

They should have the cylinders and the shoes.

Got mine two weeks ago from NAPA, also known as Not American Parts Any-Longer. I needed the L to make it work.

I don't know about you guys but I had a lot of trouble finding the spring kits. Had to piece a lot of it from a lot of different places. Does anyone know where you can get them new. Including the spring that goes across the cross piece in the rear for the parking brake.

GM specific parts vendors, links section, here @ the 'Bolt

You guys really need to explore the site more often. That isn't a knock on anyone, I'm just saying.

The big parts store chains can usually order things like brake parts, spring kits and rebuild kits for various pieces. The trick is finding the person at the store who knows how to do it.

Yes thats very true, the guys at CJC had a spring book and all I had to do is put the old one on the pic. in the book and order them as far as all the other stuff it all came from CJC I put all new brakes on My truck and got it all at FLAPS
