Hey all!!! I'm as new as they get. I can take my motorcycle apart and fix it from the ground up, but not much experience in the auto world. Anyway, picked up a 1950 3800 dually for $350, engine still runs off of jumper cables from my car and the body is still in good condition. Think I got a steal, the guy had it for 10 years wanting to work on it, but gave up and just wanted it out. I hope I can find some people local (Boise, ID) to help me along and show me how to do things. I'd like to teach my son along the way and show him what real trucks were like before they turned into toy trucks.

Welcome Cannon, We are glad you joined and we have a section just for Big Bolts. Sons love big bolts and I'm sure you two will have a lots of good memories restoring it. Hope you have a little land to drive it on. Good luck.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
