What is the Horn relay on the firewall for? Is it for the use of more than one horn? My truck has two. | | | | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 Riding in the Passing Lane | Riding in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 | Hi neigbor. Yes it probably is there for 2 horns. The standard 1 horn on that model doesn't use a relay although it's a good idea to put one on. It should have a 10-12 gauge wire from the bat or junction going to the B term.on the relay. It should have a equally heavy gauge wire from the H term to the horns. The S term is hooked to the botton in the steering column. It can be small gauge wire. If you need help E-mail me & I might be able to swing by & take a look. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though.
