The owner removed the gas tank from behind the cab seat and extended the interior 6 inches. Now I can't find a place to put the gas tank b/c of a 78 p/u bed which is now on it. The only place I can put it is in the bed of the truck and it is exposed. I need some ideas on how to dress it up a little. I've talked to some buddies and most say to get a tonto cover or a tool box. Any other ideas to hide the gas tank, which is exposed in the bed??

looking into finding a tank to fit between diff and rear bumper, but dimensions are smaller than the tanks i've found from lmc etc.
if anyone has an interchange part number/application or vendor suggestion i'd be interested in the info.

The frames from '60 to '87 are essentially the same.
Locate the tank at the very back of the frame under the bed. Run the filler neck up in to one of the wheel wells and you're done.
