That threaded hole in the spring perch is stripped. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Is there a threaded sleeve in there that can be replaced? If so any suggestions for where i would find one? If necessary I can grind the rivets out and have a machine shop make me a threaded sleeve to press into it. The perch prevents the axle from rolling, it acts like a chair for the axle to sit on. The spring hanger is rivoted to the frame. There is a threaded bushing that is pressed into the spring hanger to accept that threaded pin. You may try getting a new spring shackle kit at NAPA or one of the suppliers.
