| | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 9 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 9 | The rear spring perch on the back of my 55 pickup has a threaded hole that the spring shackle "bolt" threads into. That threaded hole in the spring perch is stripped. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Is there a threaded sleeve in there that can be replaced? If so any suggestions for where i would find one? If necessary I can grind the rivets out and have a machine shop make me a threaded sleeve to press into it. But that's a last resort. | | |
