If it actually is the rim, I'd try to find a replacement before wasting a lot of time and money trying to true it up.

I had new tubeless type outer rims welded to the wheel centers. In 2003 it cost me $95.00 per rim + $55.00 each for powder coating. They did an excellent job & I now don't need weights on the outer rim. I highly recommend them. Charles | | |
