The number behind the distributor is F0719J while the casing number - is 3836848 and the cylinder heads were 3769716. The casing and cylinder numbers may be switched. Any help identify these would be greatly appreciated.

A two cylinder air cooled, or a flat four cylinder, or an inline 8, or a....
Or perhaps is its just a 6 cylinder? Look at pictures in the gallery and see if you see one like it.

The engine code "F0719J", according to the book, is a block, cast in Flint, on July 19. It was originally used in a 3100 - 3800 truck with a 3 Speed Transmission.
There might be a date code behind the starter that could pin it down a little closer for you. | | |
