For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 26 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 26 | Still struggling to get the rear drums off. I slid the axle shaft out of the hub but I still can not get the drum off. Anyone have any suggestions? Something has to hold this drum on. There is a cover over the center hub that had five small bolts. After taking this cover off I screwed a small fine threaded bolt into the center of the axle shaft and slid it out. Not sure what to do next? | | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 . | | . Remove the large nuts and locking washer and then drum, hub, bearings and all should slide out.
