I have a Langdon HEI distributor in my 235 and I've forgotten the plug gap. Can someone help me? Thanks.

I just installed Langdons mini myself with the plugs he recommends. The instructions say .060 to .080. I did .060, it is running AWESOME. 3B, I believe that is correct for stock plugs.

Hy bigmacdaddy, right you are, that is the stock gap, I haven't seen that huge gap spec. since the early seventies. Thanks for coming to my rescue with the correct answer.

I'm not much of a mechanic, but it was explained to me that that huge gap is possible due to the more potent ignition, and the improved low speed driveability is one of the benefits. I was skeptical before I did it as my truck has always run well. Now I'm a believer. HEI rules!
