Just got the truck back from paint shop, and changed the color, so in addition I wanted to add a mirror to the right side door.
The left door had pre-drilled holes for mounting the mirror, but, the right door has no holes for mounting.
I had ordered both mirrors/arms (matching) from a dealer, and both sets came with the three mounting screws.
My question is, HOW is the right mirror arm mounted? Is there an insert to put in after drilling the three holes, to screw the screws into? Do you drill the holes and then put nuts on the inside? I thought I would ask here before I continued further. Thanks in advance for your comments.
