Boy what a day. i just spent the day going through the interior of the 52 panel. i removed All the interior paneling that was there and threw out all the camping equipment including two side mounted beds. i must have removed 500 lbs of junk. the treasure was also there though. i found a back window glass c/w rubber, a driver-side window glass and a vent glass with track. four axle shafts, tie rods and king pin kits. one extra original heater needs rebuilding i think. at least 12 brake shoes for front and back two brake drums, backing plates and one spindle. there is also a wooden box full of window winding pieces and frames for clutch and brake assemblies when with the fun begin. some of these items will go into the swap meet area after i get pictures and learn how to link to photobucket on this site. new day tommarrow and only one hour to work on my own stuff. http://s859.photobucket.com/albums/ab157/archiepilot/1952%20gmc%20model%209435/

It sounds about the way mine was when I found it. From your picture it appears you got a pretty good one!!

Keep us posted on your progress.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

my wife only saw the picture last night. she dose not think so. she is wrong and has no car vision though. she will come around slowly. she did not like the 53 panel i had when we met 30 years ago and her opinion has changed very little. may be she will like the new seats that i am putting in from my other gmc safari the third back bench seat will fit with a change in the sliding track at the bottom.i think. the seat is in now loose but it is just under the steering wheel until i remake the sliding track lower it will drop into the tool storage wells in front but it may still be too high. about 2 inches so i may have to weld up a new slider. any suggestions?
