In 1939, Chevrolet used the name "Suburban Carryall" (and, one year later, "Carryall Suburban"). Maybe the name change was a result of a dispute over ownership over the name; or, maybe Chevrolet/GM was just not consistent in how they used the name Suburban from 1935 onwards ("Suburban" alone and in combination with "Carryall")?

The Cadillac Brougham may be longer by just 2 years. 1916 to 1993. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,270 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,270 | Yes, the term Brougham was used longer, often in association with different models (almost always as a variant or option-package name). " . . . . the Brougham was a separate model from 1987 through 1992 . . . . " (Wikipedia)
But, as a vehicle name (and still in use)?
