Lever shock filler plugs are froze solid. Vice grips, penetrating oil and normal methods to loosen have not worked. Any other ideas?

Have you tried heat. Had to do that on mine. Asmall torch will work fine.

I would be interested in how you did it. I hesitate to heat the plugs since the shocks are mounted and have oil in them. Is there a rubber seal at the plug that would get damaged with heat? Does the cover have to taken off and the shock drained before heat is applied?
