Be very carefull around the left front one by the water pump opening. I have read the water pump should be bolted in before torqueing the head down. http://www.tocmp.com/manuals/Olds/1966/Chassis/06-Engine.pdfpages 1 through 32 are inline six, torque chart is on page 32. Make sure all the bolts and holes in the block are nice and clean so you get proper torque readings. Be sure to check the bolt length, too. I seem to remember the 194 bolts being a little bit shorter than the 230/250 bolts. You'd need to keep the shorter ones at least for the front two holes.

I swapped heads around when I playing around with porting jobs. As a result, I over tighten the right front head bolt and pulled the corner of the block loose, it started seeping water all the time so I replaced it. When I say over tightened, I mean 95 lbs, my '73 Chevrolet manual said 95, but the '73 Pontiac manual said 85 lbs, both used the same engine!
