Hey guys. About a month ago, i bought a 1949 chevy 3800 5 window deluxe. I got it spinning over good, i just can get any spark. The body is really good on it except for the drivers door. I will be putting a flat bed on it when i get it running.

I love 1-tons.

You'll probably get a better response on your starting problem in the Engine and Driveline area. Your motor if stock is a common 216 Chevy and some of those guys really know how to trouble shoot it.

It's true. I really don't do anything but browse the Internet looking for trouble...

Mr. Lang, The photobucket link in your signature doesn't work. I was curious about your Silverstreak.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Lemme see here.

Well. Now, I suppose the only thing to do, is search for me on photobucket, and then you can see all the pictures. There are only a few of the car, if you display all of the pictures, you will see it. My name on there is HomeCrafter. I'm not too savy on these things. I'll try and fix the thing under my name too.
Being a Canadian Car, it has the mighty 239 Flathead Six, and a torque tube driveline, and 4.11 gears in the back. It's the most comfortable highway car I've ever had, provided you only want to go 50 mph.

It's a beauty. You do nice woodwork too. About the best I can do is cut a board too short but square and drive a nail.
