im glad to find a site like this. im sure ill learn alot from everyone here. im the proud owner of two 1966 chevy c10's one of them is a longbed fleetside with the small back window, and i just bought my second one today it is a shortbed fleetside with the big back window they both have 305 ci. engines and they both need alot of work but with a little patients (especially from my lovely wife) and alot of work im sure ill get them finished some day

Welcome!! My first truck back in 78 was a 66 C10 long Fleetside small back window with a 250 and 3-speed. Sometimes I wish I still had it. Mine was a "base" model with white painted grill, bumper and top. It did have the optional twin brite strips along the sides with the white stripe between them. I wish I had a picture! Anyway, I still love 66-60 Chevy pickups and hope to have another someday. Good luck with yours. Have fun, safely.

thanks everyone for the replys i will get pics up as soon as possible as far as the patient wife goes shes already calling the long bed her truck and talking about what color she wants it and what she wants the interior to look like so we have alot of ideas and alot of patients now we need to work on the cash part
