hey guys, its been quite some time since i've posted as i've been at school in charlotte all summer. I was home over easter break and started my 63 c10 up only to find that it would run, but wouldnt move when i switched it into gear (turbo 350 automatic trans). in the past it has had some hesitation getting moving at times after it hasnt been driven for a while. but this time for whatever reason the thing just wouldnt move at all whatsoever. just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to the root of this problem. thanks.

is it a automatic or standard. if it's automatic does it have plenty of tranny fluid? if it's a standard is clutch engaging? if it's automatic it's prob the tranny. good luck!

automatic, sorry i didnt include that, and it has a 283 sbc if that makes a difference.

havent checked the tranny fluid but i will do that when i get home next month.

check the trans. fluid and also the vacuum line going from the intake/carb. to the transmission.
