No regrets yet but its only been sitting in the shop since doing it.... I might add that I wish I had found the little strips that are pre-curved on the inside door trim piece. Most of the vendors only sell it straight. But there is one vendor that has the kit with the curved pieces in it. I think the kit was $29. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 554 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 554 | Alvin- Thanks to your earlier tip about the curved strips I got the entire window weatherstrip package from American Classic Trucks,who offer the curved cat whiskers. I am impressed with the quality of all the parts. More expensive than many of the other vendors but good quality. I haven't seen anyone else's products to compare however but I am satisfied.

The staples that the vendors sell probably won’t be the correct spacing, at least the ones that I bought weren’t. So I made my own staples with the correct spacing; http://www.pbase.com/dennygraham/image/123537640/large Transferring the staple holes one at a time isn’t all that much of a challenge. The hardest part is holding the staple tight while you bend the backside over. http://www.pbase.com/dennygraham/doors&page=2 http://www.pbase.com/dennygraham/doors&page=3 Also, unless you want to make up a bender like the one pictured then I would definitely buy the pre-bent cats whiskers they are well worth the little bit extra.
