I know this is a forum for old Chevy trucks and I know this isn't the swap meet forum but... I really need to get rid of a donkey.

If we're going to let people post wanted ads for Cadillac motors here surely I can post an ad for my donkey, too.

Wouldn't a simple solution be to just move the post to the proper forum, then inform the poster it had been moved and why? I see other post moved all the time.

You know Cletis, that was tacky on my part and I apoligize. I don't want to appear I am anything like you. I was looking for some help in locating a motor for a friend-- you have any of those? It happened to be for a car not a truck and the parts wanted section says for "TRUCKS". So I asked in the engine forum. Doesn't seem to warrant a flaming or smart a23 remark from narrow-minded self-appointed forum police. I would like to think that if anyone one here needs a part for whatever they have besides a Chevy, they could ask. There is alot of knowledge and connections on this site so what better place to ask ONE question? Some of us do other things with different vehicles, and wouldn't think for a minute about not helping if we could. Apparently, you don't fit into that mold. I am sorry if I offended anyones delicate senses of proper forum decor.

I think Cletis is just having a bad day. He eally is a pretty good guy so please don't judge him by his one remark. That sort of equates to sbafarm's ONE question does it not?
So cool off boys and take a deep breath. No one injured, no one committed a crime so all is well. Besides, I'm the one who can move the question to another forum and it certainly doesn't bother me to cut folks a little slack now and then as long as they don't make a habit of it.

Have a good day and check Hemmings Motor News for Caddy parts whereabouts.
