Me Again on the '66 K10 Shortbed 4X4...This truck has GoodYear MT/R 32X11.50 tires on some chrome American Racing rims, and is an absolute ***** to turn, does anyone know of an easy and cheap power steering conversion for this beast? I was thinking i could maybe rob it out of later model Blazer or 4X4 truck, but then id have to take all of the steering components, because on my '66 the output on the steering box comes out of the side, and on all later model trucks, and even Blazers with 4X4 or 2wd all have them coming out of the bottom of the box.

My '63 4X4 has a box from a '77 4X4, along with the rest of the P/S components, and it has the arm the sticks out perpendicular to the frame. It also has the '77 front axle assembly too so I'm not sure what all it would take to retro something on to yours,
