I'm in the process of putting a 454 in a '64 short bed. Having a hell of a time finding headers that will work with the block mounted clutch pivot. Anybody else been there done that? I did't want to weld up a set of headers, but I just might have to. Thanks guys

Since the bellhousing will bolt right on the back of a 454 it might be worth looking into. Sure is easier to find room for a 1/4" steel line than a bunch of rods, bellcranks, and throwout arms. Speedway and Summit also sell the McCloed (and other) hydraulic T-O bearing which is what is used in most standards from the 90's on.
