I am yet to familize myself with the truck (being my first)but I did notice upon turning the ignition ket that the word bright was lit up. With the motor off, grab the pulley with a gloved hand and try to turn the pulley. If you can turn it even a bit , It's too loose and will need to be adjusted or the belt replaced.
